16. After dating Jake Gyllenhaal, Witherspoon met CAA talent agent Jim Toss at a party he came to rescue in early 2010. “This really drunk guy was bumping into me, making such an idiot of his own and screaming at me,” she told Elle in 2012. And I said, “Yeah, I don’t know you!” Jim came and said, “Forgive me my friend.” Jim was a really good friend and pulled him out of such a situation.

They tied the knot at a ranch in Ohiai, California in March 2011 and welcomed their son, Tennessee in September 2012.

17. In 2013, Witherspoon and toss were handed over by Atlanta PD. When an officer was arresting her husband for drunk driving, she got mad and began acting, and is said to have probably asked the officer, “Do you know my name?” When they responded that they didn’t need to do that, she was said to have replied, “You’re trying to find out who I am.” She was arrested for disorderly conduct and later did not plead for a dispute to obstruction.

“Respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything being reported now. But I would say I obviously drank a lot of drinks. “It was definitely a horrifying situation and I was scared for my husband, but that wasn’t an excuse. I was rude to the officer who was just doing his job. The words I used that night definitely didn’t reflect who I was.”
