Olivia Wilde reveals surprising reaction to Penelope Cruz’s impromptu kiss on ‘The Invite’
Olivia Wilde isn’t worried about her unscripted kiss with Penelope Cruz, but she’s soaking it in.
The Don’t Worry Darling star revealed her affair with the Oscar winner while filming The Invite, which came as a surprise and ended up in the final cut of the film.
“There’s a moment in the movie where she impromptu kisses me,” Wilde said on a recent appearance on the Table Manners podcast. And she enjoyed every moment of the improvisation, adding, “I was like, ‘Oh, there’s hair stuck in the gate. Do[the scene]again!'”
But the Tron: Legacy star was as flustered as he was happy.
“When she did that, I was so shocked that I actually turned my head and looked directly into the lens, and the cameraman was like, ‘Olivia!'” she recalled. “I said, ‘Cut, Namaste.’ For some reason, that was all I could think of.”
“I was so shocked by this moment that my mind went blank,” the 42-year-old added. “I lost control. I became obsessed with her.”
