Katie Holmes attends ‘The Invite’ screening with artist Jason Byrd Yarmosky
Katie Holmes isn’t just an appreciator of the New York art scene.
And somewhere along the way, she met local artist Jason Byrd Yarmosky. They were visibly holding hands at the premiere of The Invite in East Hampton on July 10, and continued to look cozy throughout their subsequent sightings in New York.
Since her 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise, Holmes, who shares daughter Suri Cruise, 20, with her ex-husband, has kept a low profile when it comes to her love life, dating a few people that eventually made it known to the world, but other than that, she hasn’t made much public appearances about her relationships.
Her last red carpet appearance was in 2022 with composer Bobby Wooten III, but it appears to have faded by the end of the year.
So showing up to see Olivia Wilde’s new romantic comedy hand-in-hand with Yarmosky and then strolling arm in arm through Manhattan suggests that Holmes didn’t want to wait any longer to openly date someone.
