The “Señorita” star previously sent out a message to those who disliked her on her Instagram Stories.
“I have never used social media with the intention of avoiding anything that would hurt my feelings,” she began her lengthy post. “I happened to see a headline about people ‘body shaming’. To be honest, the first thing I felt was so anxious just imagining what those photos looked like. My cellulite! Oh no! It didn’t suck in my stomach! But then I thought…Mochi Of course there are bad photos, and of course there are bad angles, and my body is not made of King Rock, or even of all muscles. But the saddest thing about girls growing up in an airbrushed world is that they strive for perfection that isn’t real.”
“I’m writing this for girls like my sister who grew up on social media. They see photoshopped photos all the time and think it’s real, and everyone gets used to seeing airbrushed skin and suddenly they think it’s normal. It’s not fake. And fake is becoming the new real. We have a completely unrealistic view of women’s bodies. Girls, cellulite is normal. It’s normal. I don’t support bullshit today, and I hope you don’t either. ”
