After hosting the ceremony in September, Mariska Hargitay received three nominations for her documentary My Mama Jane, about her late mother Jayne Mansfield, the Law & Order: SVU star said she was “thrilled and deeply moved” by the response to her family’s passion project.
“It’s an emotional moment, because it’s the most natural thing to say, ‘On behalf of my mom and me, thank you.’ I’m so grateful to have had this moment with her,” the Emmy winner said in a July 8 statement. “We would also like to thank our producer, the truly formidable Trish Adresik, our designated cinematographer, Tony Hardmon, and the rest of the extraordinary team who brought this film to life.”
