As the biggest FIFA World Cup in history enters its fourth week, less than half of the 48 teams that started the tournament will compete for the title in North America.
The quarterfinals are currently underway, with four of the best eight teams advancing to the Round of 16 to be determined on the second day.
Among the countries that were decided to advance to the third knockout stage, some achieved easy victories, while others were able to push through despite some concerns in the final stages.
