Ruby Rose’s summer didn’t start out well.
The Orange Is the New Black alum revealed he had to go to hospital after accidentally slipping and falling on a pool ledge, hitting his side against the wall.
“Rest in peace my ribs and the rest of the summer,” she captioned a video she shared to her Instagram Story on June 29, adding, “I’m hurt, more than one.”
In the video, the 40-year-old can be seen holding her side after falling into the pool.
“I went straight to the hospital and I didn’t give them $200, I didn’t collect $200,” Rose continued, quipping, “That’s your girlfriend!”
The Pitch Perfect 3 alum shared more insight into his injury and recovery in the thread, telling his followers that he “landed perfectly” on the right side of his ribs, breaking his bottom two.
“Come and take me out. I brought this on myself,” she said. “And now I have to breathe into the machine (laughs).”
In her words, “What a bloody Monday.”
After the accident, Rose reflected on the difference between experiencing a similar injury now and when she suffered a similar injury while filming Batwoman in 2019.
