Prince William’s son Prince George also follows in his footsteps as he hits a major milestone at school
Prince George and Duchess Kate’s sweet royal outing has fans doing a double take.
why? That’s because during a visit to RAF Coningsby, it was discovered that mother and son are almost the same height.
In fact, footage shared to Kate and Prince William’s Instagram on June 27 shows the Princess of Wales standing alongside her 12-year-old son, who has grown to be almost as tall as his 5ft 9in mother.
“Ah, my words!” one commenter wrote. “He is very tall.”
Another Instagram user said: “It seems like only yesterday his parents introduced him to the world outside of the hospital. Now he’s grown amazingly tall.”
As well as posing for pictures, George and Kate, 44, can also be seen meeting pilots and exploring aircraft at RAF Coningsby.
The caption on the royal Instagram page reads: “Celebrating service and sacrifice.” “Celebrating Armed Forces Day by reflecting on the time we spent on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby.”
“A powerful reminder of the courage, skill and dedication of those who serve, past and present,” the message continued. “Thank you to those who have served and continue to serve.”
