Jake Reiner is moving forward.
The 35-year-old attended the June 23 premiere of HBO’s Life, Rally and the Pursuit of Misery: Almost an American History, his first public appearance since his parents Rob and Michelle Reiner were murdered in their Los Angeles home in December.
According to IMDb, Jake was all smiles as he posed on the red carpet for Larry David’s new show wearing a gray T-shirt, black pants, black blazer, and black loafers. He appeared as Private Wallace in the first episode of the show.
“This week I attended the premiere of ‘Life, Rally and Misadventures’. Look forward to seeing me in the first episode when it comes out Friday on @hbo @hbomax,” Jake wrote on Instagram on June 25.
And while the podcaster kept a low profile in the months following his parents’ deaths, Jake’s return to the spotlight was greeted with love and support.
“He can’t change what happened, but he can try his best to live as good and happy a life as possible in honor of his dear parents,” one person wrote in the comments of his post. “I’m sure that’s what they want. Sending love and positive energy to him and his sister.”
