Jeremy Allen White and Liza Colon-Zayas reveal why it was so hard to say goodbye to ‘The Bear’
People come and go in the same way in restaurants and in the television industry.
But for the cast and crew of The Bear, including creator Christopher Storer and stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, and Riza Colon-Zayas, the FX series has truly become a family of sorts, which makes it all the more difficult to say goodbye at the end of the fifth and final season.
“This would be hard to recreate,” White, who brought to life the tortured but undeniably talented chef Carmy Belzat, told E! We will tell you about the dynamic situation at the filming site in an exclusive interview. “It was a real gift to see everyone working at their level, and I think we found a level of ease and comfort with each other that doesn’t come easily. Everyone on the show is really nice and really good at their core. We want each other to succeed.”
The Shameless alum said, “It should always be that way, but it’s not always that way. And I feel very lucky for that.”
And since White admitted that “change isn’t easy” for him, he made sure his last day on set was special, taking the time to talk to the crew and express his gratitude.
