New Zealand pace bowler Matt Henry came through England’s tail in the second Test at The Oval, giving his team a 253-run victory and leveling the series at 1-1.

Having started the fifth day at 182-5 and chasing 463 points for an unlikely victory, England quickly collapsed on Sunday and were all out for 209 within an hour.

Two balls later he bowled Jofra Archer for a duck and in the next over played Matthew Fisher to the stumps, but without scoring. Then on the next ball Josh Tan caught Darryl Mitchell.

Henry then bowled Jordan Cox with an inswinging yorker to take the match to 11 wickets and end it.

England have lost six of their last eight Tests.

Next week’s series decider will be held at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
