StrictlyVC Los Angeles is just two weeks away. On Thursday, June 18, at the Aerospace Corporation Campus in El Segundo, investors, founders, and technology leaders will gather for an evening of conversations exploring some of the most significant changes occurring across venture capital, defense technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced industries. Reserve your spot here.

StrictlyVC provides executives navigating a rapidly changing technology landscape with something increasingly difficult to find: direct access to the people who are building, funding, and shaping the next generation of companies. Our conversations are candid, our audiences are curated, and we offer insights that go far beyond what you can find in the headlines, podcasts, or social media feeds.

Who will be on stage in Los Angeles?

The evening begins with Ethan Thornton, founder of Mach Industries. In the session “Toward a New Era of Defense Technology,” Mr. Thornton will share his perspective on building hard technology companies quickly and how advances in autonomy, manufacturing, and national security are transforming the defense sector. His story reflects a broader movement of founders taking on ambitious challenges in rapidly changing industries.

Our conversation continues with Founders Fund’s Delian Asparouhov and Shinkei Systems’ Saif Khawaja. Together, they will discuss the rise of physical AI and how developments in robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence are creating new opportunities to transform the physical world. Their discussions provide insight into what it takes to build and scale breakthrough technology beyond software alone.

M13 co-founder and partner Carter Reum also joins the lineup. In his session “Finding the Next Big Thing,” Reum will explore how AI is reshaping industries and how investors can look beyond short-term hype to identify companies with long-term durability. He shares his perspective on where innovation is creating the most meaningful opportunities and how venture investing is evolving as new categories emerge.
