She said so! But only after putting up with Jason’s antics.
On a September 2023 episode of the New Heights podcast, the pair talked about getting engaged, and Jason prefaced it by admitting that he’s not a “romantic” person.
The NFL star proposed to Kyrie in his car on the way out of Kyrie’s parents’ house.
“I didn’t know how to get back to the house discreetly,” he explained. “Because if I had said, ‘Hey, I need to talk to your dad,’ that would have been a really weird thing to say,” she explained.
Instead, Jason chose option 2. “When I got in the car, I said, ‘I’m sorry, but I need a second, please.'”
However, when Jason returned a few minutes later, Kylie quickly realized that Jason was up to something. “He came back and I said, ‘Jason, I know you don’t just go in there and take a quick break, which usually takes 20 minutes.’
Then Jason cut the bull and got to work.
“He said, ‘This is not the most romantic way,’ and I immediately started crying because I knew what was going on because he mentioned being romantic,” Kylie recalled.
