Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder reveals long-standing feud with Katie Maloney
Stassi Schroeder is always obsessed with goat cheese balls and her white wine.
But relationships, especially those with a decade-long reality TV history, can be more complicated. As Stassi revealed, that’s part of the reason why her friendship with Vanderpump Rules co-star Katie Maloney went through a quiet rocky period.
“No one knows that we’ve been apart for years,” she said in an April 27 interview with Marie Claire. “We are now rebuilding our friendship after growing in two very different directions.”
This news may come as a shock to all but the most observant fans. Aside from perhaps less appearances at each other’s social events and less public outings, Stassi and Katy’s troubled relationship took place behind closed doors after more than a decade of friendship.
It’s a far cry from her Vanderpump Rules days, when explosive fights, drink-throwing, and even the occasional slap were the norm, and much more in line with Stassi’s current situation at 37. In fact, it’s this new Stassi that will once again take center stage on reality TV in Hulu’s new series “House of Stassi,” airing July 29.
