Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber reveal which of the Olsen twins they ‘didn’t like’ on the set of ‘Full House’
Oh baby, no drama here.
Jodie Sweetin and her Full House co-stars Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen aren’t as close as they were when they played Stephanie Tanner and Michelle Tanner, respectively, on TV, but that’s not because of the inciting incident.
“I think they’ve had a very different trajectory than anyone else after going through ‘Full House,’ going through adulthood, going through everything else,” Jodi explained on the April 21 episode of the McBride Rewind podcast. “People say, ‘Well, you guys don’t talk? Is that a bad thing?’ No, they were eight years old when the show ended. We weren’t that close. I didn’t see them all the time.”
“We weren’t on bad terms, but they moved to New York and then got married and became a fashion empire and moved into that world. It’s like we just drifted apart,” she continued.
Plus, as the 44-year-old pointed out, he was only three years older than Mary-Kate and Ashley during filming, meaning Full House took place during more of Jodie’s “formative years.”
