My Top 10 Things to Watch for Friday, April 24th 1. Stocks are headed higher. Oil prices and bond yields are falling. A Reuters report has raised hopes that peace talks between the US and Iran will be held soon. President Donald Trump said yesterday that Israel and Lebanon have agreed to extend a ceasefire. Tech stocks are soaring after Intel’s stunning earnings report last night. 2. Intel stock is up 25% this morning. The once-slumped chipmaker remains at full strength under Lip Vu Tan, who has been CEO for just 13 months. Intel has now made the numbers for next year. As I posted on X this morning, you can still buy Intel stock here. The same goes for Advanced Micro Devices and our newest position, Arm, which became a freight train this year. 3. Arm benefits from Meta Platforms’ latest compute deal. The Facebook and Instagram companies have signed multi-year deals for thousands of Graviton chips from Amazon Web Services. Yes, you guessed it, the Graviton is an Arm-based central processing unit. CPUs for managing agent AI are all the rage these days. Meta and Amazon are also club names. 4. Procter & Gamble reported better-than-expected quarterly profits and revenue. Trading volume increased for the first time in a year. In organic growth, beauty was the star with a big beat. Neglected grooming. Club shares rose more than 3% on paper. 5. Barclays lowered Honeywell’s price target from $255 to $243 following yesterday’s results. Analysts said the aerospace sector “has some work to do to gain support from the investment community.” Hey, people hate this company? We saw the quarter as disappointing but a sign that the conglomerate would follow through on its breakup plan. 6. Dover PT rose from $206 to $230 at Barclays. Analysts yesterday pointed to the company’s strong first-quarter results and called its 2026 revenue outlook “fairly conservative.” Prior to its release, I was on the fence about whether it still made sense to own this product. This quarter, we dispelled those concerns. Dover are great company for the club. 7. Jefferies raised its price target on GE Vernova from $965 to $1,350. Analysts said the outlook “remains too low” given the acceleration in gas and electrification orders. After a phenomenal quarter, we raised Club PT to $1,300 earlier this week. This is the perfect show for your portfolio. 8. Caterpillar significantly raised its price target on Wells Fargo from $870 to $960. Analysts cited power and energy in connection with the AI data center boom. The time has come to start taking a closer look at the energy side of the heavy equipment giants. Caterpillar stock has soared 45% since the beginning of the year. 9. JPMorgan raised the price target for its portfolio holding Starbucks from $95 to $100. Analysts adjusted their targets ahead of the restaurant and food distribution group’s earnings. Cava, restaurant brands (Burger King and Tim Hortons), and Shake Shack also experienced price target increases. 10. Wedbush begins reporting Oracle as a buy. Analysts said the company is on track to become a “fundamental infrastructure provider for the AI revolution.” Still, 2026 was a tough year for stock prices. Wedbush said the market simply “fundamentally misunderstands” Oracle’s “aggressive contract-backed investment cycle” as a speculative risk.
