Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara welcome baby number 3 via surrogate
Meghan Trainor is committed to protecting her baby girl.
The “All About That Bass” singer recently opened up about her journey into motherhood, revealing that she and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child, Mikey Moon, as a surrogate mother in January.
Meghan admitted she was worried about the backlash she would receive for using a surrogate, a fear that was exacerbated by the amount of criticism she experienced over her 60-pound weight loss.
“I didn’t see[the comments],” she said on the April 9 episode of Kylie Kelsey’s podcast, “Not Gonna Lie.” “I was very aware of that, because I was already disgusted with just changing because I valued myself, so I thought, ‘Oh, they hate me now. They’re not going to like this,'” Meghan explained. “And I was crying every night because I was so worried.”
“I want my daughter to come into this world, and not everyone is going to attack her the way she got here. All of that went through my mind,” she added. “But my team was with me, my therapist was with me, and everyone was so supportive. My husband was like, ‘Everybody can suck our butts.'”
