There has been a new development in the history of Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen.
Days after Utah State Police confirmed they were opening an investigation into an alleged altercation between the former couple, TMZ released video footage of a previous domestic incident that led to Dakota and Taylor pleading guilty to aggravated assault in 2023.
In the 2023 video, which shows Dakota recording the incident on her cell phone, Taylor, who had a 5-year-old daughter at the time, is seen screaming and trying to punch her, at one point forcing her into a headlock before attempting to kick her.
“Look, this is called physical abuse,” Dakota can be heard saying.
When Dakota, whom Taylor dated on and off from 2022 to 2025, left, she grabbed a metal bar stool and threw it at him, then threw a second one and then tried to throw a third. When she picks up the second child, Dakota, who has a 2-year-old son, Ever, with Taylor, says, “Your daughter is here.”
