Hollywood is after the money.
The 2026 awards season has been building up to Hollywood’s biggest night, aka the 98th Oscars, and that special night is finally upon us.
The annual Academy Awards ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15, and will be hosted by Conan O’Brien, honoring the year’s best achievements in filmmaking and acting. It’s no surprise, then, that many stars who have appeared in some of the most talked about films of the past 12 months will be appearing on the red carpet this weekend as nominees.
The nominees in the leading and supporting categories include Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio del Toro for One Battle After Another, Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme, Michael B. Jordan for The Sinners, and Emma Stone for Bagnia.
But there will also be many newcomers looking to earn their first Oscar statuette. Oscar newcomers are sure to steal the show at the A-list gala, including Jesse Buckley for Hamnet, Jacob Elordi for Frankenstein, Wagner Moura for The Secret Agent and Teyana Taylor for One Battle After Another.
