“He was a man of a certain kind of faith, and that faith allowed him to face the impossible with grace,” Joshua continued. “An incredible partner and husband. A real man who showed up for his family and a beautiful, kind, interested and devoted father.”
Joshua pointed out that James’ great qualities make his passes even more difficult to deal with.
“On the one hand, it’s a beautiful thing,” he continued. “I think he lived a really good life and was a good person. The tragedy of losing his family is immeasurable.”
James’ family previously confirmed that he passed away on February 11th after a nearly three-year battle with colorectal cancer.

The family added: “We ask for peace and privacy at this time as we grieve for our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend.”
