Rihanna is safe after a shooting at her Los Angeles home.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested after firing multiple shots from inside a car at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home around 1 p.m. on March 8, law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ and the Los Angeles Times. During the shooting, at least one in 10 bullets penetrated the wall of her home, law enforcement officials told the Times.
Sources told both media outlets that the “Diamonds” singer was at home at the time of the incident.
However, Sergeant Jonathan de Vera confirmed to the Times that no injuries were reported.
Rihanna, who shares sons RZA, 3, Riot Rhodes, 2, and 5-month-old Rocky Irish Meyers with A$AP Rocky, has not yet spoken publicly about the attack.
Eh! News has reached out to Rihanna’s representatives and the Los Angeles Police Department for comment, but has not received a response.
This isn’t the first time the Grammy winner has faced a frightening experience at home. In 2018, a 27-year-old man entered his girlfriend’s Hollywood Hills home by jumping over a fence, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney. Rihanna was not home at the time, so the suspect, identified by prosecutors as Eduardo Leon, spent 12 hours inside before being discovered by an assistant. The 27-year-old pleaded no contest to stalking. He was ordered to stay away from Rihanna for 10 years.
