Jason Bateman responds to backlash over comments to Charli XCX about having children
Charli XCX is everywhere, she’s so cinematic.
The “Party 4 U” singer revealed she is interested in shifting her focus to acting following a string of recent film projects, including the recent mockumentary The Moment and the Wuthering Heights soundtrack album.
On a recent episode of the series Feeding Starving Celebrities, Quenlyn Blackwell asked Charlie if she wanted to “act more”, to which the 33-year-old replied: “Yes, are you kidding? I want to quit music and become an actress.”
And when Quenlin, 25, highlighted the success of the Grammy winner’s 2024 album Brat, he joked, “What else do you have to do?”
In fact, Charli, who married The 1975 drummer George Daniel in July, shared her idea for a horror movie on TikTok in May, saying it expanded on the premise, which she described as “the final destination for the It Girl.”
“We’ll be killed by machines or something,” she explained. “And if it was an It Girl thing, I feel like all the deaths would happen on the runway. I’d probably die somewhere like a rave, you know what I mean?”
