Kristen Bell slams Emma Stone and other celebrities changing their names at Best Actor Awards
Dax Shepard took time out from preparing for a colonoscopy to support Kristen Bell on her big night.
On March 1, Dax and daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9, joined Kristen backstage as Kristen’s wife of 12 years hosted the 2026 Actor Awards.
Kristen posted on Instagram on March 2nd, along with a photo of BTS, “In case you were wondering what I was doing when I wasn’t on stage last night.” “I never thought for a second that I could do this job by myself.”
“Thank you @daxshepard for your continued support and presence,” she added. “You’ve never been there to calm my nervous system during tough times. Our family unit gives me the energy to be creative, perform, and entertain. I love it. I’m grateful for the space I have to occupy. And whenever I need it, I’ll have the same room for all three of you.”
Earlier in the night, it appeared Dax might miss the ceremony, sharing on his Instagram Stories that he was preparing for a colonoscopy. Although she didn’t attend the red carpet, she was cheering for Kristen backstage.
And for Kristen, the appeal was that she returned to host the awards ceremony again after hosting in 2024 and 2025.
