Actor Awards 2026 Biggest Winners: Michael B. Jordan, ‘The Pit’ and More
The 2026 Actor Awards was full of history-making moments.
At the March 1 ceremony hosted by Kristen Bell at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sinners dominated the film category, with The Studio and The Pit taking home numerous television awards.
Not only did Michael B. Jordan and the entire Sinners ensemble cast, including Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, Deloree Lindo, and Hailee Steinfeld, each win an award on the night, the win also marked a milestone for director Ryan Coogler.
The acting awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, only recognize acting and stunt work, but with his win for “The Sinners,” Ryan becomes the first director to helm two projects to win ensemble awards at the awards: the cast of “Black Panther,” which also starred Michael, previously won in 2018.
“We are all anointed to be a part of this incredible journey created by the genius of Ryan Coogler,” Delroy said while accepting the ensemble award on stage with the rest of the cast. “We put our heart and soul into this effort and hope to be recognized by all of you. Words of gratitude cannot express the gratitude we feel.”
