Reba McIntyre always keeps Brandon Blackstock close.
And at the 2026 Grammy Awards, the late talent manager’s father, Narvel Blackstock, who was married to Reba for more than 20 years, will be among the musicians and artists she, Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson will pay tribute to with a performance of “Trailblazer” at the memorial service.
“For me, it’s really special because my son is a son that we look up to,” Reba told E! News Zuri Hall is emotional on the red carpet. “He passed away in August, so it’s going to be very special because Brandon will be on stage with Brandi, myself, Lucas, and two other women who play cello and violin.”
And even though he has won three Grammys out of 18 nominations so far, all of which have special memories, the 70-year-old added that “this will be my favorite memory” of his upcoming performance.
After all, when she and Narvel married in 1989, his children, including Brandon as well as Chasidy Blackstock and Shauna Blackstock, immediately became hers after their 2015 split.
