The beauty industry has lost a great talent.
Kim Bo, the renowned hairstylist who worked with stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Paris Hilton, has passed away after a battle with colon cancer, her husband Adeel Khan announced on January 25th. He passed away at the age of 55.
“My beloved husband, best friend, partner in life and business, Kim Bo, has passed away,” Adeel wrote in the caption of a Jan. 24 Instagram post announcing the hairdresser’s death. “Diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2018, under the care of Dr. Lawrence Pirro and his amazing team at Angeles Clinic and Cedars-Sinai, he fought bravely, winning many battles along the way and exceeding all medical expectations.”
He added: “Ultimately, God decided it was time for the angels on earth to return home.”
Adeel also mentioned one way loved ones are keeping Kim’s memory alive.
He wrote, “In lieu of flowers or other condolences following her passing, Kim has kindly requested that you direct your love and efforts toward donating to the Kim Bo Foundation, which supports hair, beauty, and fashion creators who have also been affected by cancer.”
