Clippers defeat Raptors in OT, win 5th straight NBA | Basketball News

The Los Angeles Clippers overcame a 14-point deficit to defeat the Toronto Raptors, 121-117, with the Nets and Cavaliers also winning.

James Harden scored 8 of his 31 points and added 10 assists in overtime as the visiting Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Toronto Raptors 121-117.

Ivica Zubac had 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers, who overcame a 14-point deficit to win their fifth straight on Friday night. The Clippers finished the game with a 20-8 record, with Harden scoring the final eight points of regulation.

Kawhi Leonard did not play for the Clippers due to a sprained right ankle.

Scottie Barnes scored 24 points for the Raptors, who lost two of three games. Brandon Ingram had 19 points and Jamal Shihed had 15 points and 13 assists.

Nets ⁠112, Bulls 109

Michael Porter Jr. scored 26 points, including a go-ahead layup with 5.4 seconds left, and host Brooklyn blew a 20-point lead to beat Chicago.

Noah Clowney added 23 points and 11 rebounds as the Nets snapped a five-game losing streak and earned their second win of the season against the Bulls. Dayron Sharpe had 14 points, rookie Danny Wolfe added 13 points and Nic Claxton had a season-best 14 rebounds.

Nikola Vucevic led the Bulls with 19 points, and Dosunmu contributed 18 points off the bench. Coby White finished with 17 points and Matas Bouzelis had 15 points as Chicago lost for the fifth time in seven games.

Cavaliers ‍117, 76ers 115

Jaylon Tyson scored a career-high 39 points and set up Evan Mobley’s game-winning bucket as Cleveland defeated Philadelphia for its second consecutive road series victory.

Tyson shot 13-of-17 from the field, 7-of-9 from 3-point range and 6-of-6 from the foul line. DeAndre Hunter had 16 points and Donovan Mitchell had 13 points and 12 assists for Cleveland, which played without Darius Garland.

Joel Embiid had 33 points and Tyrese Maxey had 22 points and nine assists for the Sixers, who suffered their third loss in four games. Cleveland has won three of its past four games.

Kings 128, Wizards 115

Russell Westbrook scored 26 points on a season-best six 3-pointers, and Domantas Sabonis energized the Kings in his first appearance since Nov. 16, helping Sacramento defeat visiting Washington.

Sabonis returned from a knee injury and had 13 points, six rebounds and five assists on 5-of-6 shooting in 21 minutes off the bench. DeMar DeRozan added 17 points and the Kings extended their season-best winning streak to four games.

Alex Sarr scored 19 points and Tre Johnson scored 18 points for the Wizards, who lost their fifth straight game. Washington dropped an average of 17.6 points in those contests.

Pacers 127, Pelicans 119

Jay Huff had 29 points and nine rebounds, Andrew Nembhard had a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists, and Indiana University defeated visiting New Orleans for its fourth win in its last five games.

Huff set a career high in points by making 13-of-17 shots from the floor, including 3-of-6 from 3-point range. He was one of five Pacers to make multiple 3-pointers, led by Pascal Siakam who made 4 of 8. Siakam had 27 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Zion Williamson led New Orleans with 27 points and seven assists on 10-of-12 field goals. Trey Murphy III scored 22 points for the Pelicans, but was only 7 of 21 from the floor.

Rockets 110, Timberwolves 105

Kevin Durant sank four free throws in the final moments for a 39-point performance as Houston cruised to a win over visiting Minnesota.

Durant made 11 of 18 shots from the floor and 6 of 8 from 3-point range to lead Houston back from a 12-point deficit. Alperen Sengun had 25 points and 14 rebounds before fouling out late in the game. Reid Shepard and Armen Thompson each added 14 points for the Rockets.

For the Timberwolves, who were without leading scorer Anthony Edwards (foot), Naz Reid had 25 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Both teams combined for 29 missed free throws.
