Gossip Girl alum Sebastian Stan reveals his position with his co-stars (Exclusive)
Who is Sebastian Stan’s godmother? That’s one of the secrets we just learned.
Anastasia Soare, CEO and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills, revealed an unexpected connection to the Gossip Girl alum.
“I’m his godfather!” she told ELLE in an interview published on January 15th. “He’s from Romania and from the same town as me. His mother has been friends with us since we were in fifth grade.”
The 68-year-old beauty mogul praised the Sharp actor, noting that the two have remained connected to each other since they left Constanta, Romania, decades ago.
“He’s a great guy and a very talented guy,” Anastasia said. “I love him. His mom lives in New York, but we meet when she comes here to visit.”
In fact, Sebastian has a special bond with his mother, Georgita Orlovs (who immigrated to the US with her son from Romania in the 1990s), and even took her as his date to the 2025 Academy Awards, where he earned his first Oscar nomination for her performance in The Apprentice.
