KPOP Demon Hunters Team, Best Animated Work Award, Box Office Award, Best Song Award

“We are so happy and incredibly humbled that KPop Demon Hunters has been recognized by the Golden Globes! On behalf of our entire cast and tireless crew, this moment feels surreal, and we couldn’t be more grateful to the members of the Golden Globes, Netflix, Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and everyone who has supported our vision over the past seven years.”

We’re still getting used to the cultural impact this film has had on the world, but we’re so grateful for the fans who fell in love with Rumi, Mira, Zoe, the Saja Boys, and of course Derpy Tiger and Susie. They helped evaluate the film in both Best Picture, Animation, Motion Picture, and Box Office categories. Thank you, hunters!

We are also very proud that EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, 24, IDO, and Teddy were recognized for their song of the year, “Golden.” We dreamed hard, we came this far, and now we believe! thank you! ! ” —Maggie Kang, Chris Appelhans, Michelle Wong
