Amanda Seyfried thought Timothée Chalamet’s shoutout to Kylie Jenner was for an actual foundation

Sidney Sweeney hasn’t stopped playing house.

After starring in the film adaptation of Frieda McFadden’s novel The Housemaid, the actress will officially return for the sequel, which is set to begin production later this year, alongside co-star Michelle Morrone and director Paul Feig, Lionsgate announced on January 6th.

In the first film, Sidney, 28, played Millie Calloway, a troubled young woman who works as a live-in maid for Nina Winchester (Amanda Seyfried) and her wealthy family, but ends up uncovering dark secrets about her new employer. The sequel, titled The Housemaid’s Secret, is based on the second book in the series.

It’s no wonder the Euphoria star keeps coming back for more. After all, she recently revealed that once she got her hands on the script for The Housemaid, she couldn’t put it down.

“When I first read the book, I thought, ‘This is so delicious, this is probably the most fun thing anyone could do,'” she told E! magazine. News at the film’s New York premiere in December. “So I was on board from day one, I was really into it.”
