Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Crupi scored a late goal in the 4-4 draw with Manchester United on Monday night to snatch a point for his side and cap off a Premier League thriller that was intense from start to finish.
Ruben Amorim’s side wasted a chance to level with Chelsea in fourth place in the table and are sixth in the table with 26 points. Bournemouth are in 13th place with 21 points.

United looked confident of victory after Bruno Fernandes’ superb free-kick, but Matheus Cunha scored two minutes later in the second half to make it 4-3.
Crupi, a 19-year-old substitute for Bournemouth, silenced United fans just five minutes later when he was spotted by Alejandro Jimenez on the edge of the penalty area in the 84th minute.
United goalkeeper Senne Ramens instinctively saved David Brooks’ diving header with his right foot in the sixth minute of stoppage time to preserve the draw.
It was a game that will go down as a classic, with end-to-end action, with both teams hitting nine shots on target. When the final whistle blew after an exhausting 100 minutes, it was unclear whether either team went home satisfied.
“I think it was a good game for a neutral country,” Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola told Sky Sports. “Everything was there. There were moments when I thought I was missing out. And moments when I thought I had this, I was comfortable.”
“I didn’t even know if I was happy that we finished the game or if I wanted to wait another minute.”

United’s Amad Diallo took the lead with a header from close range after Diogo Dalot’s cross was initially saved by goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.

“It’s really disappointing,” United manager Ruben Amorim told the BBC. “It’s really disappointing. It was a crazy game. It may look like we gave up two points in the second half, but I think we gave it up in the first half.”
“We dominated and created a lot of chances. We should have gone into half-time with a different result. In the end, we deserved more.”
