Kimora Lee Simmons reacts to daughter Aoki Lee’s ‘shocking’ romance with man 44 years her senior
Kimora Lee Simmons was stabbed wonderful Fastlane when she finds out about her daughter’s love life.
The Baby Phat founder detailed her reaction when she learned that she and ex-husband Russell Simmons’ 23-year-old daughter Aoki Lee Simmons had sparked a brief romance with restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, 44 years her senior, in 2024.
For Kimora, the news came as a particular shock when photos of Aoki and Vittorio, 65, packing on the PDA in St. Barths began circulating online.
“It went from zero to 100 really quickly and I was like, ‘Aoki, I didn’t know this was going to happen,'” she recalled during an appearance on Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast on Dec. 8. “I found out when the world found out, and that was very shocking.”
Kimora further admitted that she’s not the biggest fan of the pairing, especially since she’s had similar dating experiences herself.
“Let’s call it that because I’ve experienced similar, if not exactly the same, relationships with large age differences,” she continued, “I think that’s predatory.”
