Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos reveal they had the ‘biggest Thanksgiving ever’ at a hotel
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos left empty nests this Thanksgiving.
The couple revealed that they chose to visit their daughter Laura, 24, in London and spend their holiday in a hotel this year rather than hosting a dinner at their home in New York. And it’s safe to say they have no regrets.
“I’m going to show it off,” Kelly said on the Dec. 1 episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark.” “We had the best Thanksgiving ever. We went out of town. We went to London to see our daughter. And we went to a hotel for Thanksgiving. So what? It was the best Thanksgiving of our lives.”
But what really perplexed Kelly, who also has children Michael, 28, and Joaquin, 22, with her husband of 29 years, was that Thanksgiving dinner was supposed to be a relaxing affair, with no need to do anything.
“You know, dinner just arrived, and when it was done it was cleaned up,” she continued.
While the change of pace may have been revolutionary for Kelly, 55, this year’s Thanksgiving was just like any other for Mark.
