The 11th FIFA Arab Cup will be hosted by Qatar and will begin in the capital Doha on Monday. Tunisia will play Syria on the first day of the tournament, while Qatar will host Palestine. The final will be played on December 18th at the iconic 89,000-seat Lusail Stadium. A total of six venues have been selected, all of which will be used during the 2022 World Cup. The 16 participating teams will be divided into four groups, and a total of 32 games will be played. The group stage will run until December 9th, with the knockout stage starting on December 11th.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage, where the quarterfinals, semifinals and final will be held. A match for third place will also be held between the two teams that lost in the semi-finals.
In the knockout stage, if the match is tied at the end of regular match time, 30 minutes of extra time will be played and penalties will be assessed if necessary.
