Season 34 of DWTS previously featured contestants Corey Feldman, Jen Affleck, Lauren Jauregui, Baron Davis, Hilaria Baldwin, Scott Hoing, Danielle Fishel, Andy Richter, and Whitney Leavitt, who were eliminated in the semifinals a week before the finale.
Andy, who was voted off the cast of Mormons a week ago, shared his thoughts on this season’s voting trends while defending the reality star’s honor following her “insane” exit.
“There’s a soap opera going on online right next to this show,” the 59-year-old told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published Nov. 19. “It’s a good way to gauge audience sentiment in terms of voting. I’ve always seen people being like, ‘Whitney needs to go,’ and I’m like, ‘What? Why?'”
While many fans agree that Whitney wanted it, a week before her departure, she surprised viewers with Chicago’s “Cell Block Tango” with Roxie Hart and Mark’s Argentine tango performance.
Other dance highlights this season include Elaine and Alan incorporating the Parent Trap handshake into their cha-cha-cha in the premiere, and Dylan and Daniella’s walk-in-the-air move that inspired many, including her dance pro husband Pasha Pashkov, to recreate it on social media.
