Let’s rejoice that Ariana Grande is on the road to recovery.
The “Wicked: For Good” star’s brother Frankie Grande revealed that he contracted COVID-19 while on the press tour for the musical film, and provided a positive health update.
“She’s fine,” he exclusively told E! News’ Darin Karp at the 2025 Out100 Celebration in Los Angeles on Nov. 21. “As her little brother, I send her all the love and healing vibes in the world. She’s doing such a great job.”
“At this point we are all infected with coronavirus,” he continued. “We know she’ll be fine.”
During the event, where Niecy Nash-Betts received the Icon of the Year award, Niecy Nash-Betts also praised her sister’s performance as Glinda the Good in the second-act film adaptation of the Broadway play, calling her return to the Oscar-nominated role “amazing.”
“I’ve seen it four times now and it was amazing,” he raved. “It gets better with every episode. Every time I watch her, I learn something new about my sister’s character. Her acting is masterful. Her skills are on full display and I highly recommend everyone go see it.”
