‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ alum Jen Shah is rarely seen from prison
Jen Shah is in prison.
More than two years after being sentenced to a lengthy prison sentence for wire fraud, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum was photographed walking through the yard of a Texas prison with fellow inmates.
In the photo, Jen is seen walking on the lawn at the Federal Penitentiary in Bryan, Texas, on Nov. 17, wearing prison uniform (beige short-sleeve button-down and matching pants) and clutching a giant cardboard box. Next to her, another similarly dressed woman grabbed the other end of the box and helped carry it to the trash can.
And while Jen may have to wear a standard-issue federal prison uniform, she could add a little extra flair to her look. As it turns out, the 52-year-old also wore earrings, a wedding ring and a prison-issue watch while performing her duties, according to witnesses.
Jen was first sentenced to six years in prison in February 2023 after being found guilty of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy in connection with her role in a long-running nationwide telemarketing scheme.
