Ray Ami didn’t think much outside the Golden Box when thinking about his Halloween costume this year.

The singer who voiced Zoe in KPop Demon Hunters dressed up as the animated character for Heidi Klum’s 24th Halloween Party, and nailed her character’s first look in the movie (patchwork parachute pants as she jumps off the plot, naturally) with detailed styling.

That’s exactly how it’s done.

“Oh my god, it’s everywhere and you can’t take a break from it,” Ray told E! News about the red carpet outside the Hard Rock Hotel in New York on October 31st. He mentioned that KPop Demon Hunter style costumes are prevalent this year. “Please don’t complain!”

The 30-year-old showed off intricate embroidery featuring the iconic sea turtle and South Korea’s national flower, the hibiscus. And to complement Zoe’s Shinkar (aka her magical hand-throwing knife), Ray also sported a fierce manicure.

All in all, she revealed that it only took her “about three hours” to get ready, and assured E! “It wasn’t too bad.”

But, Ray admitted, adding: “I gave the tailor a really hard time. I sent him the measurements about a week ago. He hasn’t slept.”
