Zoey Deutch has a new term to describe her relationship with fiancé Jimmy Tatro.
The No. 2 Juror actress revealed she doesn’t like the word “fiancée” and instead decided to use hilariously similar names to describe her engagement.
“‘Fiancée’ is a very strange word,” Deutch, 31, said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Nov. 26. “It feels a bit exaggerated. It’s like ‘my fiancé,’ so for some reason I call it ‘Beyoncé.'”
As for how her future husband feels about the name exchange, she admitted: “I don’t know what he thinks, but whatever.”
She also revealed that her engagement to Tatro, 33, which she announced in a sweet Instagram post in September, was no surprise at all.
“Maybe I shouldn’t say it, but I knew it was coming,” she explained. “I felt it a little.”
“We were on vacation in Corsica, and as a travel agent, I had planned the trip in detail,” she jokingly told host Jimmy Fallon. “And when we got there, he tried to casually say, ‘Oh yeah, so we made dinner plans for Monday.’ And I thought, ‘So did I. I should have seen it on Google Docs.’ ”
