Kimora Lee Simmons is starting to kick into gear again.
The reality TV alum returns to our screens in the new show Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane, which premieres on E! But for the 50-year-old, whose first new show in more than a decade, it wasn’t the lane change she expected.
“I feel like people are saying, ‘Oh my God, you’re really crazy,'” she told E! News from an exclusive interview. “‘This is something big going on. You better get your camera.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, I’ve been there, I’ve done that.’ And people are like, ‘No, no, I’m serious.'”
And soon it became more than just a word. “The ‘I’m really serious’ conversation becomes, ‘Okay, let’s go, let’s have a quick meeting,'” Kimora explained. “And I thought, ‘Really?’
After all, Kimora has a lot going for her as a mother of five. The designer has daughters Ming Lee Simmons, 25, and Aoki Lee Simmons, 23, with ex-husband Russell Simmons, son Kenzo Lee Hounsou, 16, with Djimon Hounsou, son Wolf Lee, 10, with ex-husband Tim Riesner, and son Gary Lee, 15. She adopted him in 2020.
