Warning: This article contains spoilers for Pluribus Season 1.

Pluribus has just developed nuclear weapons.

In the season 1 finale of the AppleTV+ series, Rhea Seehorn’s Carol Starka, aka “The Most Miserable Human on Earth,” is ready to raise the stakes for others when she learns she may only have a limited time to live without contracting the hive mind virus.

Meanwhile, Manusos (Carlos Manuel Vesuga), who along with Carol is one of the 13 people on Earth who is free of the virus, finally reaches Carol in Albuquerque after a perilous journey from Paraguay. And although the two got off to a rocky start, Carol agreed with Manousos that drastic measures were needed to save the world. Carol continued with the question she asked in episode three. Would others give her an atomic bomb if she asked for it?The answer is yes.

We’ll have to wait until season 2 to find out exactly what Carol has planned, but the show’s stars Leah and Karolina Wydra (Zosia) sat down with E! News of exclusive interviews. They responded to fan theories, including popular speculation online that Carol is actually an alien, which would explain her immunity to the virus.

What was Rhea’s reaction? “I don’t think so,” she said with a laugh. “But, sure, hold on to that.”
