Jude Bellingham scored his first goal since June as Real Madrid saw off a spirited performance from Juventus at the Santiago Bernabéu to win 1-0 and maintain their 100 per cent record in this season’s Champions League.
Wednesday’s goal came in the 58th minute when Vinicius Jr. created space with three Juventus players and fired a shot. His shot hit the post, giving Bellingham his first goal of the season since returning from shoulder surgery.

Juve have not won since September 13th and are now without a win in seven games in all competitions. They have only secured two points from their three Champions League matches, while Madrid have nine points.
However, the Italian made a number of fine saves from Real keeper Thibaut Courtois and broke the Champions League winning record by nearly an hour.
The Belgian stopper also played a vital role in the dying moments as Juve piled on the pressure for an equaliser, having to beat Filip Kostic’s long-range attack.
Liverpool come from behind to win in Frankfurt
Liverpool bounced back from a disastrous defeat with a 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich also won comfortably.
Liverpool travel to Germany having lost four straight games, including a home defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. Among the recent setbacks was a defeat against Galatasaray in the second round of the league.
Rasmus Christensen gave the hosts the lead in the 26th minute, but Liverpool equalized nine minutes later when ex-Frankfurt man Hugo Ekitike raced past three former team-mates and curled a low shot under Michael Zetterer.
Ekitike did not congratulate him, but he raised his hand apologetically.
Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate headed home corner kicks within five minutes of each other, giving Liverpool a comfortable lead at half-time.
Florian Wirtz made his first Champions League assist in the 66th minute when he set up Kodi Gakpo’s tap-in, and he did it again four minutes later with a low drive from 30 meters in front of Dominik Szoboszlai.
Chelsea defeated Ajax 5-1 and Bayern defeated Club Brugge 4-0.
Nigeria’s Osimhen shines again at Galatasaray
Victor Osimhen continued his impressive scoring record in Europe, helping Galatasaray to a 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt.
Osimhen scored two goals in the first half, extending his scoring streak in continental competitions to seven games, during which he scored nine goals. It goes all the way back to Galatasaray’s Europa League match last season.
The Nigerian forward came close to scoring a hat-trick on several occasions, most notably in the 60th minute, when his attempt was saved by Nikita Haikin, but Yunus Akgun turned in the rebound for Galatasaray’s third goal.
Substitute Andreas Helmarsen came off the bench and immediately provided a consolation for Bodø/Glimt.
Substitute Roberto Navarro made an immediate and surprising impact as he helped Athletic Bilbao claim their first points in this season’s Champions League with a 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Calabag.
Navarro was brought on in the 65th minute with the score at 1-1, and five minutes later he gave the home side the lead with a stunning shot into the far corner.
Calabag, who was surprisingly perfect going into the match, pushed past Leandro Andrade and took the lead after just 49 seconds.
However, Gorka Gurzeta equalized just before half-time, giving his team a two-goal cushion as full-time approached.
