The bus was parked and had no passengers at the time of the attack on Thursday morning.

According to media reports, two cracks were found in the coach and two people were arrested.

PSG players and staff were able to head to Paris airport for a flight back to Paris on Thursday morning.

European champions PSG drew 0-0 with Bilbao on Wednesday night, leaving them third in the 36-team qualifying league. Bilbao is in 28th place.

The French club is considering filing a complaint with European soccer governing body UEFA, a source close to the club told AFP on Thursday.

Poland: Rayo Vallecano fan injured before European match

Three people were hospitalized after an attack on Rayo Vallecano supporters attending a Europa Conference League match in Jagiellonia in eastern Poland on Thursday, local police said, adding to the escalation of violence surrounding European matches.

Later, “approximately 50 people emerged from the nearby forest, some of them masked. Clashes ensued,” Masovse Regional Police announced on social media platform X.

“Thanks to the arrival of police, the situation was prevented from escalating. Emergency services treated the injured at the scene and three people were taken to hospital,” police added, without disclosing the nationalities of the injured.

Two large buses carrying Spain supporters were intercepted by two cars on a highway near Ostrov Mazowiecka in eastern Spain between Wednesday and Thursday, police said.

Police did not say whether the fans were supporters of the Madrid club, but local media reported that they had come to see Rajo play against Jagiellonia on Thursday near Bialystok, near the Belarusian border.

Police have announced that seven people have been arrested so far in connection with the incident.

They said they seized, among other things, “a balaclava, a retractable baton, a wooden stick, and metal bolt cutters.”
