However, in a post on X on Tuesday, the Moroccan international denied the allegations.

“Today, a rape accusation is enough to warrant a trial, even if I deny it and prove everything is false,” Hakimi said.
“This is an injustice to innocent people as much as it is to the real victims. I await this trial, where the truth will be revealed publicly.”
The Nanterre public prosecutor’s office in the French capital Paris launched an investigation in 2023 after a woman accused him of rape.
Prosecutors confirmed on Tuesday that Hakimi’s case had been sent to trial.
Hakimi’s lawyer, Fanny Collin, also confirmed the court order in a statement to AFP news agency.
“A trial was ordered based on the solely verbal accusations of a woman who obstructed all investigations, refused all medical examinations and DNA tests, refused to have her cell phone tested, and refused to reveal the names of key witnesses,” Collin said.
Rachel Flore Pardo, the plaintiff’s attorney, said her client was relieved to hear the case would go to court.
She said the judicial authorities handled the case exemplary.
But the overall treatment showed that “there are areas, primarily in men’s football, where the #MeToo movement has yet to break the sound barrier,” AFP quoted Pardo news agency as saying.
PSG will face Monaco in the return leg of the Champions League first round play-off on Wednesday.
Hakimi was included in the first team list announced last Tuesday.
Asked about Hakimi’s situation at a press conference on Tuesday, PSG coach Luis Enrique said: “This matter is in the jurisdiction of the authorities.”
