Paris Hilton is speaking out about controversial rumors.
The 44-year-old was responding to reports that Ghislaine Maxwell, the girlfriend of the late convicted federal sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who is serving a 20-year sentence on federal sex trafficking charges, once met her at a party and wanted to “recruit” her.
“I don’t even remember meeting her,” Hilton said in a Nov. 15 interview with The Sunday Times Magazine, adding, “I’m such a nice clickbait name.”
In 2000, Hilton and Maxwell, then 19, were photographed at the Anand John Fashion Show in New York City with current President Donald Trump, a longtime friend of the hotel heiress and founder of the modeling agency T Management, with which she was contracted at the time.
This photo was featured in the 2020 Lifetime documentary series “Surviving Jeffrey Epstein.” Christopher Mason, a former acquaintance of Mr Maxwell, claimed on the show that the British socialite once suggested Hilton would be a “perfect fit” for Mr Epstein, who was charged with sex trafficking dozens of underage girls from at least 2002 to 2005 and died in prison in 2019.
