Miles Teller gives Kelly Teller a remake wedding dress after LA wildfires
Miles Teller still doesn’t feel good about his 2015 profile in a magazine.
More than a decade after calling him a “kinda dk” in a viral Esquire interview, the Fantastic Four alum revealed how it led him to stop doing such lengthy profiles altogether.
“That was so inappropriate,” Miles told Indiewire in an interview published May 19 at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. “The reason I didn’t create a profile was because I thought, ‘Wow, if I didn’t do this interview on camera, this person might misquote things, take things out of order, or say things that didn’t happen.'”
The Emmy nominee, who was at the Cannes Film Festival with his new film Paper Tiger, said during an interview that the profile published “felt like a huge violation of what actually happened.”
As a result, Miles, 39, has decided to no longer agree to be interviewed for the profile. He recalled telling his team: “Guys, I don’t think I’m going to do this anymore, because as I’m reading this, I don’t think, this is not life, so why would I want to be a part of something where they can take it in?”
