Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s children Archie and Lilibet show off their cuteness at pre-Thanksgiving event
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are revealing details of their recent business moves.
As the Archewell Foundation, founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2020, is being restructured as Archewell Philanthropies, the Daily Mail reports that three staff members have been made redundant, with former employees told they were being made redundant “due to the closure of the charity”.
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that the team was indeed downsized, but declined to say specifically how many people were affected.
“The transition to a fiscally sponsored operating model means that some reductions in staff are inevitable,” a spokesperson told People in a statement on Dec. 22, “particularly in junior management.”
The statement continued: “I will not discuss the details of these appointments further, other than to say that I am honored to work with incredibly talented and caring people who are dedicated to helping others.”
