Meghan Markle shares some of her favorite things
The series presents Meghan’s love for hosting, cooking, gardening and decoration, but she also sheds light on some of her other interests.
For example, in one episode, she hosted a game night for a friend.
“We all started learning Majong together over the past few months,” she said. “Majong starts in China in the 1800s and plays a version called Majong from America. What really made me like about Majong is that the game itself is really fun, but what was so great was the idea of learning something new with friends and realizing that Majong would be the backdrop of expanding friendship.”
In another episode, her friend, Tatcha founder Vicky Tsai, said Meghan also liked Pickleball, and the Duchess herself revealed some of her favorite genres of music.
“I listen to soft rock from the 70s, lots of yacht rock and lots of souls,” Meghan said in episode 5.
And when it comes to food, she said she has “very high tolerance” to spices.
“Even at a young age, we didn’t have much, but we traveled,” she said. “My mother was a travel agency. We tried so many different flavors and different places. My mother makes gumbo and there are many flavors and lots of kicks in soul food. I long for it. And I’m always drawn to that level of heat.
