There was police activity near Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s home.

A man was arrested on May 6 near former Prince Andrew’s residence after police were called to a report of a man acting in an “intimidating manner,” NBC News reported, citing the Norfolk Police Department.

“Officers attended and the man was arrested on suspicion of breaching public order and possessing an offensive weapon,” the force said in a statement.

Parliament said offensive weapons include knives, batons and other items used to cause harm, but police did not say what type of weapon the man had. According to the media, the man is currently being detained for questioning.

Eh! The News has reached out to Andrew’s office and Norfolk Police for comment, but has not yet received a response.

Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph said it was aware that a 66-year-old man was walking his dog when a man wearing a ski mask ran up to Andrew, shouting profanities at him. The report said Andrew and the security guard got into a car and sped away from the scene, not far from his home, Marsh Farm, on the Sandringham Estate.
