Kyla Greene & Cashel Barnett: Split
One of the most unexpected couplings of the US version was delivered, with Kyla choosing to leave the show after sending Cashel home to see if she still had a shot with him… only to find out he was already back. Unfortunately, the couple, who had an interest in music, broke up in October 2019.
By the end of November they had reconciled. However, Kaila and Cashel permanently ended their relationship in February 2020.
“It worked,” he said on the #NoFilter podcast. “I think we’re just in different places in our lives…I think she blocked my number, to be honest.”
Kyla went on to appear on other shows including Match Me If You Can in 2021, The Challenge: USA (which Cashel also competed in) in 2022, and Love Island Games in 2023. However, in 2024 she was to be spotted off-camera in a match with Tal Sahar, a dental student and former baseball player.
Online records show Cashel was jailed in Utah in May 2025 on charges of domestic violence and assault. The following month, new charges of assault and domestic violence were filed against him.
According to NBC News, Cashel has denied the allegations, with his attorney Andrew K. Deesing saying, “My client and his family are going through an incredibly difficult time, and I would like his privacy to be respected as we work diligently to protect his name and reputation.Obviously, we are in the very early stages of this matter and have no further comment at this time.”
